A delegation from Togliatti visited Wolfsburg

The economic delegation from Togliatti visited its sister city Wolfsburg (Germany)

The delegation consisted of specialists in different areas, such as road maintenance, organization of public transport, housing and communal service and development of tourism and investment attractiveness of the city.

The purpose of the visit was to study the experience of Wolfsburg in creating and developing innovative economy and infrastructure of the municipal economy.

The program of the delegation included a visit and a detailed familiarizing with the technologies of construction and maintenance of urban roads, bridges and crossings, public transport maintenance and financing, the maintenance and cleaning streets, yards, cemeteries and urban landscape creation.

Representatives of Togliatti administration closely acquainted with the tourism development program and plans for Wolfsburg development till 2020. Discussion about cooperation for creating Togliatti scientific and entertainment center for children based in "Zhiguli Valley" technopark was made. The example of a similar center Phoeno, which successfully operates in Wolfsburg, was discussed.

During the visit, both sides initiated new plans for the development of bilateral contacts. They will be more actively discussed in Togliatti and Wolfsburg and included in a cooperation program for 2015.
