Puppet Theatre from Peru will arrive in Samara for the"Rainbow" festival

Preparations began for the International Festival of National Puppet Theatre "Rainbow" in Samara, which will be held in September this year for the sixth time. Local Puppet Theatre is preparing for it.

VI Festival is special: it will be the expansion of its geography. In the area will come theaters that have not yet presented their art at the court of the Samara viewer. At the moment, the participation in the festival was confirmed by several foreign theaters, and among them, Jose Navarro of Peru, who will present a performance based on the national dance - "Ritual dance with scissors."

Also Koreja Theatre will come in order to present to the inhabitants of Samara tragicomic story of Charlemagne's paladins - "Paladins of France." Portuguese national approach to the doll will be demonstrated by Manuel Costa Dias from the theater Investigacao de Formas Animadas with the performance "Dolls of my life." 

Currently, negotiations are underway with the theaters from China, Indonesia, Japan, Macedonia, Estonia, India and Serbia. The festival will be held at several venues in the city: Drama Theater, Samart, in the House of actor and puppet theater.
